Making your tools speak the same language
The hardest part of software engineering isn't building a fresh app. It's making separate commercial platforms describe the exact same person. I specialize in the CRM integration and the API integration, the middleware that keeps your CRM, partner portals, telephony systems, and e-signature tools synchronized.
Systems and Platforms I Connect
- Core CRMs
- Salesforce and enterprise equivalents, acting as your system of record.
- Partner feeds and lead sources
- Inbound lead platforms, partner communities, and property management systems. Also a referral or directory site of your own, built for search, with tracking on the referral and a place for each partner to maintain the content they own.
- Document and signature workflows
- Automated e-signature dispatches, collection of missing fields before a packet goes out, and status tracking when it comes back.
- Telephony and communication
- Call tracking, call-log extraction, and voice-agent pipelines that write structured notes back to the CRM, like the one in my AI receptionist demo. Or the phone system itself, built for a team of two or a team of hundreds.
- Directory and administrative tools
- Staff directory mappings, identity checks, and the security layer on public authentication.
- Custom infrastructure
- Reliable transactional mail, and project tools with a real API when the work should not live only in a chat.
The Integration Playbook
When I integrate a new third-party platform into your stack, I treat it with discipline. I study its quirks: auth that expires, webhooks that arrive twice, empty fields that do not mean “clear this.” I map the data, run a dry-run, and confirm the cutover does not corrupt what you already have. You get a narrow, robust feed that holds up in production.
When the records moving between systems include health information or Social Security numbers, the integration has to keep them out of logs, email and spreadsheets, and every vendor in the path needs a signed BAA. How I build HIPAA and SOC 2 ready software.
Smaller teams have the same problem on a smaller scale: a booking app, a register and an accounting program that don't share anything, so someone retypes it all. Small business software and automation.
Platforms change underneath you, too. If a PHP integration still signs in to Salesforce with SOAP login(), here is how to move it to OAuth before the retirement.
